The community provides for its residents a wide range of living choices and a shopping capability which serves the needs of both the City and its neighboring communities being one of the gateways to the Gulf beaches. Belleair, is located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Pinellas County. It is a small community, less than one square mile. Neighboring towns include Clearwater and Largo. Pinellas County maintains a boat launch on the North side of the causeway providing easy access to the Intracoastal and the Gulf of Mexico.
