Davis, an inspired developer and entrepreneur, conceived the idea of creating three connected Mediterranean islands at the mouth of the Hillsborough River. The community would be intimately tied to the heart of Tampa’s business center, while retaining a distinct hometown feel. His legacy has blossomed into one of Tampa’s most renowned and colorful neighborhood developments.
