Palma Ceia West is one of Tampa’s premier neighborhoods to live in. It offers an abundance of boutiques and independently run restaurants. Palma Ceia West is a charming neighborhood with antique red brick paved streets shaded by majestic oaks that canopy over the historic homes. An array of craftsman bungalows, 1940′s cottages and Spanish revivals about 5 miles to the west of Downtown Tampa, it has maintained a consistent appeal to Tampa natives since the early 1920′s. Palma Ceia West is home to the appropriately named Palma Ceia Country Club and also located adjacent to the exclusive Golfview community. The neighborhood is within the district of Henry B. Plant High School. Aesthetically it is most known for its bricked streets, reminiscent of the yesteryear's. This district contains many specialty boutiques and culinary praised eateries, including some of the highest rated in the city. All of this lies just a half-mile walk from Bayshore Boulevard. A true urban feel that still allows for a real “front porch” style of living.
